Overview

The M.S.P.H. is an academic research degree designed for students who wish to prepare for further study at the doctoral level, or to prepare for research or technical positions in government, industry, academia, or private institutions. Studies will include many of the core disciplines included in the M.P.H. degree with an additional emphasis on advanced research methods and quantitative analysis skills. The M.S.P.H. program is a 45- credit hour program requiring 24 credit hours of core courses, 6 credit hours for the capstone experience, and 15 credit hours of electives in an area(s) that is of interest to the student. Full-time students can be expected to complete the program in two years.
