Research Interests

I am the Principal Investigator of the Miami site of the Cooperative Breast Cancer Tissue Resource (CBCTR) which is funded by the NCI branch of the NIH. The aim of the NCI is to have a multi-institutional resource for the procurement of primary breast cancer tissues with associated clinical and follow up data. The aim is to provide tissue to investigators for research studies; particularly those focused on translating basic research findings into clinical application for prognostic and therapeutic markers.
